Friends, booze and handcrafts

  • A friend kept a home garage sale, and I’m now, among other findings, a proud owner of a Hugo Boss leather shirt (!) and Pertti Palmroth designer shoes.

  • Went to IKEA (The Home of Happiness). Bought a and a Almost bought these marvelous huge candles but eventually dropped them, because really, where would I store them?

    Never in my life have I had a situation where I would have been short on furniture. Either my flats have come with furniture or I have conveniently had friends and relatives offering me stuff. I’m one of those people who hems and haws after stylish decorations, but who are unwilling to replace their old crappy furniture until their break down or go otherwise majorly unsuitable.

  • Made more acrylic beads. I have ergonomically unsuitable working methods and now my wrists are aching. Better do something before I get a carpal tunnel syndrome.

  • Also went out to dance an drink. I don’t get women. (Which is a bad thing since I *am* a woman) Since I live in the city, my friend invited, with my permission, her friend, too. I wasn’t keeping the said Friend’s Friend in a very high regard, but whatever. So this womanly Friend’s Friend got a ride, visited my home, got her drinks paid by my friend, got her panties in a twist by something and disappeared without a word. Hi and bye, no invitations for your way again.

  • Gimme me my television shows! The damn breaks are all in the same time! [livejournal.com profile] sua_lay, would you please loan me those CSI’s now?
