Yes, I'm still alive.

  • this applying jobs thing gets me big time. I'd rather get my teeth pulled out.

  • In my friendslist, there is five posts back-to-back about (baby) gorillas. From different people. Am I going insane?

  • This makes me so sad:

(about evacuation of the people of New Orleans)
The poorest 20% (you can argue with the number -- 10%? 18%? no one knows) of the city was left behind to drown. This was the plan. Forget the sanctimonious bullshit about the bullheaded people who wouldn't leave. The evacuation plan was strictly laissez-faire. It depended on privately owned vehicles, and on having ready cash to fund an evacuation. The planners knew full well that the poor, who in new orleans are overwhelmingly black, wouldn't be able to get out. The resources -- meaning, the political will -- weren't there to get them out.

  • I developed huge artsy black-and-white photos of my cat. A pity that proper framing would cost a fortune. As I ordered the pics via net, I tested the company's quality by ordering some fun stuff, too. Now I have huge a4 size photos of JC that I snatched from JC Source and a freakishly real looking snapshot of one certain Rodney McKay sleeping on a couch stuck on my fridge door.

  • I so want this bag. I don't have the money for it, but I still want it.

Thanks, I'm going to need it! It's now when it's finally sinking in that I'm not going back to the university. No studying, because, graduaded, you know... I should start being an adult or something ;)

Really? I always thought that university students were adults, but now that I've studied for one year there, I realise I was wrong. It's interesting to hear that even graduates aren't adults. ;)
